You know what?!
i just realized this summer will be my last summer i will actually ENJOY before i go into the dental hygiene program. ‘cause after that i’m just gonna work every single summer for the rest of my life! ahh NO FUN! SO here’s my summer funsies list so i can spend this summer RIGHT!
1. GET BLACK!
2. Learn how to cook filipino food! ALL OF IT!
3. Read my bible errday, errday.
4. Get toned! Cardio, weights, abs!
5. Learn all them cool hairstyles i bookmarked on mah laptop!
6. Make a music video!
7. Learn makeup shtuff with my NAKED palette!
8. Have girls night! Hair, nails, makeup, movie, the whole SHENANIGANS!
9. Go thrifting!
10. Redecorate my room!
11. Go to the shooting range!
12. Go to busch gardens! Cedar point! WHICHEVA!
13. Go white water rafting!
14. Drive stick!
15. Build a humongous sand castle!
16. Road trip to NOVA!
17. Decorate mah new house!
18. Make cake pops!
19. Read a book!
20. RIDE A HORSE!!!!

Blessed
It’s 3:00 in the morning and I’m dead tired. But here I am, writing this blog. Wow, I’m ACTUALLY blogging. This is exciting. Well I guess I’ll start off by saying I’m feeling incredibly blessed right now. Blessed that I’m ALIVE, blessed that I’m healthy, blessed to be born into a spiritual family, actually, blessed to be born into a HUGE spiritual family…my church, aunties, uncles, sisters, cousins (ESPECIALLY MY COUSINS), and blessed that my spiritual faith is growing more and more everyday.
I tried something new today. It was beautiful weather. Not too hot, not too cold. So I decided to read my Bible outside on the wooden bench near the lake. It was quite peaceful, being surrounded by Yahweh’s wonderful creation and soaking up all the vitamin D from the sun. It cleared my mind of the constant “to-do” list that always runs through my mind and just made me focus on Him and His Word. I couldn’t think of any better way to spend my daily quiet time with Him.
Throughout the day, I went about my normal routine. Went to the gym, class, volleyball, hung out with my big, made dinner and baked. Went back to the dorm, reluctantly visited Facebook out of habit, tried to do homework (but then I remembered it isn’t due till Friday. AW YEAH.), went back to Facebook, then I checked my email for the first time. My YahooMail which I NEVER check. I came across a long list of email threads from my cousins. So I start reading them one-by-one. As I was reading, I couldn’t help but hear their voices in my head as if they were really talking through the email, but I also couldn’t help thinking that I HAVE THE BEST COUSINS EVER!! They are so spiritually driven and rooted in their faith. Especially Ate Inday who always has such a way with words and who always sends words of encouragement to help us grow spiritually stronger. Reading the emails just really moved me. Seeing how they bring so much glory to Yahweh, testifying how His work in their lives, it just makes me want to be at the level where they are at!! I can feel things changing inside me. Things that make me hunger for the Word, things that make me want to tell everyone about Yahweh AND Yahshua, things that make me want to change my life and start fresh.
I can’t wait to see what Yahweh’s plans are for me. I just hope and pray that I will be able to completely let go and let Yahweh do His complete work in me.
